My favorite coffee shop in Jax, Artessence is truly a third space! Gina, Soner, Princess, and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Everything there is made with care. The food and coffee are phenomenal, and I love trying a new drink every time I go. I haven’t been disappointed yet. They’ve also done an amazing job on the atmosphere. It’s so cute inside and the rotating art is well curated. I look forward to coming here every weekend.

We stopped by Artessence during one of our Friday exploration walks through Springfield. My husband enjoyed another excellent coffee, and the owner was incredibly kind. It was a brutally hot day with a heat advisory, and when he saw me filling my cup from the complimentary water station, he gave me a cold bottle of water without me even asking. That simple act of kindness meant a lot. Great atmosphere, wonderful coffee, and genuinely caring people. We'll definitely be back!

This coffee shop was a perfect brunch spot. The staff and owner were so welcoming and helpful with deciding on our food and drinks. The shop has a lovely at home atmosphere with art adorning the walls and customers greeting eachother like friends. We ordered the strawberry soda and Colombia pour over with breakfast tacos and a sunrise bowl. The strawberry soda came with a big strawberry ice cube and fresh strawberry puree. The pour over was a wonderful ceremony with the fabulous aroma surrounding the table. It was mild, with a nutty , chocolate finish and not a bitter note in sight. The breakfast tacos and sunrise bowl were delicious. The sunrise bowl could easily feed two. I definitely preferred the sunrise bowl as it included beans, fried potatoes and avocado as well as the egg and chorizo. Definitely a gem in Springfield. The avocado toast looked amazing as well. They do offer breakfast burritos and muffins for a quicker or to go option.

Stopped by Artessence Coffee Shop and had the best morning. I ordered the breakfast tacos — great price, good portion, and just really satisfying. I also got an iced matcha and they suggested adding lavender… so good. Such a simple upgrade but it made it extra special. The vibe in there is just as good. There was a little crochet circle of ladies chatting away, and strangers casually striking up conversations over coffee. It just feels welcoming and easy. Definitely one of those spots you want to hang out in for a while.

This restaurant is owned by members of the Springfield community and bring the charm of the neighborhood to their restaurant. The cordial nature of the owners with the subtle upscale nature of the venue, with the charm of the puzzles available for customers, this cafe is a relaxing opportunity for passerbys. The coffee is well curated and masterfully crafted, and the food menu while limited right now excels in quality. A worthy entry to the growing Springfield community.
